The evolution of bug-fixing

A normal curve line chart showing the evolution of bug-fixing, comparing stress level to time. It starts out low stress with 'It should be easy', then mid-way through it's at a lot of stress with 'Questioning career choices'. Then as time goes down stress starts to go down with 'It was a typo the whole time'.

I’ve been thinking quite a bit lately about how incredibly hard tech job interviews are compared to my normal job. The more time that goes on, the worse I do at them. Even though I’m arguably much better at solving problems than I ever have been. Make it make sense.

Living in the inflection point
